10:00 a.m. Lenten Mission Service.

Theme: A Mission of Love.

 

6:30 p.m. Meeting of the Publishing Ministry for The Cornerstone yearbook. 

 

The Cornerstone 2024 yearbook is already being compiled! Yes, this annual publication will again feature CCPC events, activities, achievements, celebrations and challenges between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024. As with previous issues, CCPC members are now invited to contribute a classified ad or message for inclusion in The Cornerstone 2024. You may contact Mr Hadford Howell, the managing editor, for more details.

 

THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 2024

6:30 p.m.  Family Fair & Flea Market Planning Meeting

We need more volunteers to help plan this special fundraising event, which is scheduled for Saturday May 18, 2024 - Whitsun weekend.

 

FRIDAY MARCH 8 , 2024

10:00 a.m.  Holy Communion to the sick and housebound

6:30 p.m. Way of the Cross with meditation; “Love so amazing so divine demands my soul, my life, my all”

7:30 p.m. Choir practice

 

Harvest Festival 2024 – Theme: We will work with each other.

We wish to thank the parish organisations, ministries, and individuals, who have already volunteered to decorate the window recesses of our church on Saturday, March 9 2024. Please call the church office if you wish to offer further assistance to this wonderful Christ Church Harvest tradition.

We also need donations of cakes, sweet bread, pone, fish cake batter and leg hams for our harvest display and sales. 

 

SUNDAY MARCH 10, 2024 – Fourth Sunday in Lent (Refreshment Sunday)

7:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist with Hymns  

9:30 a.m. Choral Eucharist       

4:00 p.m. Harvest Thanksgiving Programme

 

Harvest Sales

  • A Harvest Cake Sale of cake, sweet bread, pone, etc., will take place directly after each morning service.

  • A Fish Cake & Ham Cutter Sale will take place after the Harvest Programme.

  • Harvest ground provisions, fruits and vegetables will be sold on Monday, March 11 from 7:00 a.m.

The proceeds from the Harvest Sales will assist with preparations for our Fair & Flea Market, which is scheduled for Saturday May 18, 2024 - Whitsun weekend.
